Attending Lara Belle Bridal Boutique Wedding Fair as a Wedding Photographer

Lara Belle Bridal Wedding Fair as a wedding photographer

At the weekend (March 24th) I attended Lara Belle Bridal Wedding Fair showcasing myself and my business as a wedding photographer. Faye, owner of Lara Belle Bridal, is an award winning bridal boutique based out of The Cleve in Wellington. The Cleve also played host for the wedding fair, of which 20 plus wedding suppliers were in attendance. It had been a while since I last showcased myself at a wedding fair (due to unfortunately being scammed by another wedding fair company), so I was extremely grateful for Faye to invite me along and restore my confidence in wedding fairs and shows.

At the event, I met such amazing brides-to-be and I cannot wait to talk further about their big days. As 2024 is coming close to being fully booked and having already surpassed my target for the year, it was refreshing to talk to brides-to-be that are looking into 2025 and 2026 for their wedding suppliers. I’ve said this time and time again that it is super important to book far in advance for your suppliers and in particular the venue and your photographer. With limited availability, these two suppliers are pivotal to getting what you want. With my 2025 calendar starting to fill up, there is no better time for couples to book with me and you can do so by firstly getting in touch to find out about my availability.

Anyway, back to the wedding fair. There were such talented wedding suppliers at the event and some stunning displays to look at. You could really tell I had been out the game for a while (in terms of attending wedding fairs), because I was speechless with how beautiful most of them were. I absolutely loved mingling and networking with everyone and what a venue to have the event at.

In the few spare moments, I took an opportunity to go around with my camera and shoot bits and bobs for other suppliers, but mainly to capture Faye’s perfect bridal boutique. What a setting for any bride to try on dresses and show your most loved how you look in front of some eye watering mirrors. Honestly, I have never seen anything like it (although I don’t go in to many bridal shops in all honesty). So, if you are engaged and looking for an idyllic location and shop to get your dress, Lara Belle Bridal is your go to.

I had a blast at the wedding fair and I hope the conversations keep flowing with both couples and suppliers. As much as it is about talking to brides-to-be, wedding fairs are a great place to network and set up stronger relationships in the wedding industry. Thank you again Faye for a lovely event and I wish everyone all the best for the wedding season ahead,
