Your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life, and I’m honoured every time a couple entrusts me with capturing those special memories. I believe that the best wedding photography is built on connection, trust, and preparation, so I make sure to guide you through every step of the process. Here’s a glimpse into what it’s like to work with me, from booking to delivery of your final album.

1. Booking Your Date

Once you’ve decided that I’m the right photographer for your wedding, the booking process is simple and straightforward. After an initial consultation, where we discuss your vision, wedding details, and photography needs, I’ll send over a contract and a deposit invoice (30% of total package price) to secure your date. This is when the excitement truly begins! Whether you’ve already chosen a venue or are still in the planning stages, I’m here to help answer any questions along the way.

2. Keeping in Touch

Between booking and your wedding day, I’ll stay in touch to ensure everything is running smoothly. I like to check in with couples periodically—sending helpful emails, tips, and reminders—to make sure we’re all on the same page. Communication is key to making sure that I understand your vision, and I’m always available to chat if you need to adjust anything or just want to share exciting updates about your plans!

3. Pre-Wedding Phone Call

A month before your wedding, I’ll schedule a pre-wedding phone call or video chat, along with a wedding questionnaire. This is a crucial step in making sure everything goes off without a hitch. During this call, we’ll review the timeline, talk through the key moments you want photographed, and discuss any family dynamics or special requests. I want to make sure that I’m fully prepared to capture every important moment, from getting ready to your first dance.

4. The Wedding Day

On your wedding day, my role is to capture your story as it unfolds naturally. I’ll arrive early, ready to photograph everything from the quiet moments before the ceremony to the joyful celebrations afterwards. My style is a blend of candid, documentary-style photography with a focus on capturing genuine emotions. I’ll also capture the essential group shots and any other specific images you’ve requested, all while being as unobtrusive as possible.

I love working closely with your wedding planner and other vendors to ensure that we’re all working together seamlessly. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, allowing you to focus on the special moments without worrying about the photos.

5. Delivering Your Wedding Photos

After your wedding day, the magic continues! I take the utmost care in editing and curating your photos to reflect the beauty and emotion of your day. Within 48 hours you will receive what a call ‘Hero Shots’ otherwise known as sneak peeks. Then between 4 to 8 weeks these are followed by the full gallery.

For couples who choose to book a platinum package or above, your booking also includes a personalised USB box. For the same packages and also my Gold and Silver packages you will also receive free prints. On your full gallery that I send you, it is a one stop shop whereby you can purchase prints and albums all from the same place. Family members can do this too.

I’m committed to making the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, from start to finish, so that your memories are beautifully preserved for a lifetime.
